Most countries require nutrition information to be displayed on the back or side of pre-packaged foods. Our research has examined the use and understanding of nutrition fact labels among a range of population sub-groups. These studies have also examined the impact of regulatory changes, such as the requirement to label ‘added sugars’ and other design changes to nutrition facts labels in Canada and the United States.
