ITC Youth Report - 2025
The ITC Youth Tobacco and Vaping Survey consists of national surveys conducted among 16-19 year-olds in the United States, Canada, and England. The study uses a repeat-cross sectional survey design to identify emerging trends and to evaluate “natural experiments” in tobacco and vaping policies.
The 2025 ITC Youth Report provides a comprehensive summary of findings over the first ten survey waves, conducted between 2017 and 2024. The report includes findings in the following areas:
Prevalence and patterns of use
Indicators of dependence
Product characteristics, including brands, flavour, nicotine profile
Purchasing and retail noticing
Noticing vaping promotions
Noticing health information and education campaigns
Vaping perceptions and reasons of use
Vaping cessation
Other health behaviours
